Today’s post was inspired by Drew (@SarcasticEnigma, also known as The Tattooed Book Geek). A tweet caught my eye this morning where he was talking about how he wrote a 2000 word review. He was very pleased with it, thought it did the book justice and generally couldn’t have done it any better. Interactive Feature: yay or nay? | 30 Days of April #16
Hey, it’s me- coming at you in just a nick of time! I’ve been just completely transfixed with Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine (which I just finished btw, LOVED IT!). I don’t see every book like a movie in my head. But I completely lost myself in Eleanor Oliphant and it was easy to imagine myself as a bystander watching her narrative unfold. It also got me thinking what if could add an interactive feature to this book, what would it be? Definitely sound effects. Eleanor is hilarious with her blunt, “say what’s on your mind” kind of way.
