Happy publication day to I Know Who You Are by Alice Feeney! Firstly, let me say my thank you’s to NetGalley, Alice Feeney and HQ for the free ARC in exchange for an honest review. What a ride, goddam! Here’s what it’s all about:

Book Review | Blacklands by Belinda Bauer
Today’s post is a review for Belinda Bauer Blacklands. So it’s now officially official. I love Belinda Bauer’s books, and there’s nothing you can do about it! I fell in love with Bauer’s writing when reading Snap (see review here), and have since also read Rubbernecker (my thoughts about that one here) and it is no surprise Blacklands was equally enjoyable.

Reading Habits Tag | 30 days of April #9
Found this fun tag on Vivatramp. Looks like the original creator’s video nor channel exist anymore, so unfortunately I’m unable to link them! But lets discuss reading habits today, anyway! A friend of mine has the funniest, and most annoying habit when she reads – she strokes the page she’s on with her thumb. Omg that noise! Anyone else do that?! I like to smell books before I read them. Yes, a weirdo, but tell me honestly is there a better smell in the world than a new book? No. That’s right!

Audio Books’ Pros and Cons | 30 days of April #6
Audio books – yay or nay? Honestly, I cannot remember audio books being so popular a few years back as they are now. Is it just me? It’s like every published book has an audio format. As a child I loved to listen to fairy tales. Those were the days we used to have, brace for it.. CASSETTES! Those were my first “audio books”, and I absolutely loved them. Now, as an adult I do enjoy them, but no-where near as much as I used to as a kid.

Blogger Recognition Award | 30 Days of April #5
Wednesday night took an interesting turn after I scrolled through some new blog posts on WordPress – as you do. Stephanie, over at shesprobablyatthelibrary, had published a post about the Blogger Recognition Award. I thought it was so nice that someone had taken time to nominate her and recognise the hard work and effort she puts into her blog. I had planned something similar, a blogger love share, post for today and of course clicked to read her’s. To my absolute surprise I saw my own name on her list of book bloggers who she in turn wanted to shout out. My little heart ALMOST couldn’t take it. Thank you so much…

Thursday Quotables | Pinterest Book Quotes
Happy Thursday book friends! Today’s quotes are brought to you by Pinterest. Of all places, huh? I’ve tried to get on board with this site before, but to be honest I have no idea how it works! If anyone wants to teach me how to use it to it’s full potential, please feel free.

Reasons Why I Love Reading | 30 Days of April #4
I grew up with my nan and I’ve mentioned the massive book shelves in our living room, that eventually overflowed into my bedroom, very too often. For as long as I can remember my grandmother has always read books. Up until her eye sight got pretty bad, and even now she’s trying to read a bit using the magnifying glass. She would forever gift me books and to this day she is still buying books that I end up bringing to the UK with me every time I visit her. She is the #1 person in the world to me and the #1 reason why I love reading. Reading is…

What’s on my TBR | April 2019 | 30 Days of April #3
To put it lightly I failed March’s TBR Jar picks bigtime, because I had so many other great books that got approved on NetGalley and I just.. chose to read those instead. So for April, arguably the best month of the year, I’ve chosen the books off my shelf that I just cannot wait to read any longer. Bookshelf Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine – Gail Honeyman This book was on everyone’s reading list last year, and I am so late to jump on. I can wait no longer, and getting myself a fix of Eleanor and her highly praised story. The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle – Stuart Turton…

Ready, Set, Go | APRILATHON | 30 days of April #1
I love a challenge every now and then. When I thought about what my goals are for April, especially with the blog and where I want to go with it- I knew I needed to really push myself. So in honour of April, my favourite month, I decided to push all the boundaries and challenge myself to write 30 posts, not including the weekly memes and book reviews. Let me be clear – this is no April fool’s joke. (Although should I fail, it totally is!!🤦) For the next 30 days, I will be uploading a book related post. From reasons why I like to read to blind date with…
