Hi friends! We had glorious weather this weekend, albeit I enjoyed it from the comfort of my living room, but it’s comforting to see the change in season and know I’ll be able to spend the majority of the time out in the garden very soon! Cannot believe it’s week 8 of my weekly (reading) update post already. Time sure does not seem to be slowing down! BOOKS It’s been an odd week. I’ve found it incredibly hard to concentrate and my mood shifts almost on an hourly basis, which has made sticking to a book incredibly difficult. I am therefore still slowly creeping through Home Before Dark by Riley Sager…

Happy Sunday friends! As usual, today’s post is my weekly (reading) update, cannot believe it’s week 5 already. Weekly (Reading) Update | 2021 | Week 4
Happy Sunday, friends! The day is here to give a weekly update about what I’ve been reading, watching and listening to throughout the past 7 days. But before I start can I just put it on record that it was snowing in London town today! The boyfriend took me on a nice lunchtime walk. It’s the first time in months that I’ve left the house with no actual reason other than wander around aimlessly and get some exercising in! And it felt good. I even made a mini snowman! The whole park was full of life-size snowmen and it reminded me of home so much. Every winter our town would…

Weekly Reading Update | 2021 | Week 2
Good everting friends, how are you doing? I’m doing okay and am just jumping on here to give the briefest reading update for this past week. To be honest I’ve been pre-occupied with a ton of TV shows and done very minimal reading this week. The boyfriend and I binged on the Serpent (BBC) and that was a ride! I love shows based on true stories. If you haven’t watched it yet, I recommend you do. You won’t regret if you’re a true crime junkie, like me! In addition I finally felt bored with the layout of our living room and we spent an evening moving the TV cabinet to…

Weekly Reading Update | 2021 | Week 1
Good evening friends! How are you all doing? I’ve been busy watching lots of trash, but also somewhat enjoyable, movies on Netflix and generally just chilling. I have been off work since Christmas Eve and it really has been a much needed break. However, as quickly as Christmas arrived it was done and over within, in what felt like, minutes. It’s back to the grind tomorrow and I am NOT looking forward to rolling out of bed to do some actual work at all. So to distract myself from the fact that it’s Sunday, and I had planned to post a weekly reading update today, here I am. Week 1…
